Well, I thank you all for all the love you've shown me I'll not be forgettin' soon your hospitality But as I've grown older, restlessness been overcomin' me Like a river, as it's meetin' with the sea I come to you a child sittin' on your knee Now I'm stuck in my old ways and that's been botherin' me Moving on's the only way to get myself free So I'll leave you, though I love you, now a-wanderin' I'll be Come lift me up from time's sweet comfort Set me out upon my way Maybe I can find a piece of my soul forgotten Come back to me clear as day Well, I thank you all for all the love you've shown me I'll not be forgettin' soon your hospitality But as I've grown older, restlessness been overcomin' me So I'll leave you, though I love you, no a-wanderin' I'll be A-wanderin' I'll be

You'll always be near to my heart No matter how far we're apart A mountain between, a stone it would seem You'll always be near to my heart No matter the days we're apart An ocean of time in a teardrop of mine You'll always be near to my heart The loneliest nights that I ever knew Came long ago, long before I loved you You'll always be near to my heart You'll always be near to my heart No matter when near or apart A mountain between, a stone it would seem You'll always be near to my heart An ocean of time in a teardrop of mine You'll always be near to my heart

When dark has pulled across the sky As night begins to fall Remember, there's another time So lift your voice and call: A new day is coming A new day is coming A new day will be here, carried by the dawn When all the world has gone to sleep The tender secret growing Reminds us there's no need to weep A new day is coming A new day is coming A new day will be here, carried by the dawn

Sit with me, my Wildflower Sit and sing to me Sing to me my Wildflower Sing of love gone by All our days will pass like fire Burning through the night Our sweet time will soon be over So let's sit a while

All my life I've walked along a long and lonely road I have never seen a place that I could call my home Along a lonely road Along a lonely road All God's children walk along a long and lonely road

Adam Brock and Darren Klein are friends. They both play guitar, and they like to play together. They don't live so close to each other anymore, but that doesn't stop them from making music.

about

Darren Klein New York, New York

Hi, thanks for stopping by my Bandcamp page. I play guitar, and here you'll find a bunch of music that I've written and recorded over the past few years. Stylistically, my recordings are a bit of a mish-mash... "Give Thanks" and "Sounds From Tiny Earth" are jazzy, "Shake This Thing" is a little hip-hop thing, while "Wildflower" is solo folk guitar. Go figure... ... more
